"Our Story" Reminder from Superintendent Jennifer Fano

Just a friendly reminder to consider submitting a few sentences summarizing an event for Our Story. You may submit a highlight through rtnj or simply email a short blurb (with a picture or video) directly to me. There are so many tremendous things happening in our schools and this is a great way to share some highlights with our entire school community. Everyone is welcome to submit a post, so encourage teachers, support staff, students, and parents to submit something as well.

Congratulations Mrs. Murphy - WDHA "Teacher Who Rocks"

Ironia first grade teacher Cathy Murphy was recently recognized by WDHA Radio Station as a "Teacher Who Rocks".

Congratulations Mrs. Andrews - Ironia's Educator of the Year!

When Ironia Principal David Kricheff surprised fifth grade teacher Linda Andrews announcing her as Ironia’s Educator of the Year, she was overwhelmed and wiped her overflowing eyes. When teachers came in to the room to hug her and former student Brendan Laqui, now an eighth grader at Randolph Middle School, and mom Liz Clogher, surprised her with flowers, she needed even more tissues. Brendan’s younger brother Darren is in her class.

Available PTO Committee Chair Positions

Please consider volunteering for the 2017-2018 school year. Perhaps even grab a friend to come along for the ride to Co-Chair a Committee with you. It's a fantastic way to be involved with your child's school, and we cannot have these committees and serve our Ironia community without your help and support! We need your help in order to be successful!
