  • Pre-Sale Ticket Contest:  Beat the lines at Winterfest and save $2 on your entrance fee by ordering your tickets ahead of time, before January 24th.   The class with the most pre-sale ticket forms returned will win a cool prize!  There is a 4-way tie right now between Mr. Hand, Mrs. Brodsky, Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Pace!
  • The Winterfest committee is looking for candy donations!  Please consider donating unopened bags of individually wrapped candy (hard candies, peppermints, mini candy bars, Hershey kisses).
  • Volunteers Needed!! Please consider signing up to volunteer for a shift at Winterfest.  We have many open volunteer spots and need your help!  Shifts available all day!  Email Jenny Gross or send back your volunteer form in the Winterfest Information Packet.
  • Instant Raffle - With only a month away to Winterfest we are asking for donations for the instant raffle. Good time to clean out your closets and donate those unwanted toys. Boxes damaged - no problem we will still take the donations. We will have a bin on the stage labeled instant raffle.
  • Make a Craft - the make a craft chair's are asking for donations of empty paper towel rolls. Please send any paper towel rolls to school. There will be a bin in the cafeteria on the stage.
  • Food Services - The food services chair is asking for donations of juice boxes/pouches, soda and bottled water. The committee is also asking for families to make chili or donate other food items. Questions? Contact Sharon Alessandra.

Sweetheart Dance

Ironia girls are invited to get dressed up and bring their Dad (or Grandpa, Uncle, etc) for a night of music and fun!  More details can be found on the registration form.   Please contact Kristin Sullivan with any questions.

 

Ironia Has Heart!  We will be collecting donations for “A Chance to Dance”.  This program was started by a Randolph HS student and helps provide attire for those less fortunate.   Please bring used dance shoes (all styles) and gently used leotards, tights and costumes to help other little girls get their “Chance to Dance”.

Yearbook Photographers Wanted

CameraCalling all Kindergarten and 2nd Grade Parents!  Do you like to take photos? The yearbook needs YOU! We are in search of volunteers to be the Head Photographer for Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. In order to make the yearbook a memorable one for your child, we need your help!  If you are interested, please email Linh Thauvin as soon as possible.

Colored Pencils

The PTO is pleased to offer our families the opportunity to purchase all the pencils, markers, erasers, notepads, and other teacher-requested school supplies from Staples at a discount to you.  It also saves you the trouble of collecting it all on your own!  This year, for the first time, we will be utilizing an online order process, making it more convenient for you!  Use the code for Ironia School when placing your order: 49317.  DO NOT send in a check - it will not be accepted.  The deadline for online orders is June 29th.  The estimated arrival for supply kit pick up is 8/29-9/2 at the Staples located at 140 RT 10, Randolph.   If you have any questions, please contact Karen Galluzzo.

Students in all grades should also be prepared for their Specials classes.

Art: Smock/adult size shirt - Please make sure sleeves are cut down to size and that it is a comfortable garment for your child. Print child’s first and last name on the back.

Gym: Sneakers and comfortable clothing. Appropriate outdoor clothing as weather permits.

In addition, some items that are suggested to have at home for homework are: dictionary, stapler, ruler, glue, glue stick, pencils, erasers, markers, colored pencils, crayons, notebook paper, thesaurus, construction paper, poster board, and shoe boxes.

One of Ironia PTO’s successful ‘no-cost’ fundraisers is the Panther Cash program. You can purchase gift cards from dozens of local & national participating retailers, who sell ‘scrip’ (gift cards) to non-profit organizations at face value and donate a percentage of the sales back to the organization. Ironia PTO has earned over $5,000 over the last 3 years with this easy win-win program!

Simply logon to www.shopwithscrip.com. If this is your first time logging on, click “REGISTER” in top right hand corner of your screen and then click “Join a Scrip Program” and make sure to designate Ironia PTO as your non-profit recipient and use our enrollment code 7ACB6D1212155. If you have used this program in the past, you know how quick & easy it is – simply logon and start shopping! Once you log into your account, try clicking on the Specials tab to see special deals for the month or the “What’s New” tab for new & different gift ideas.

Here you will find a list of participating retailers.   Please fill out the order form, print and place in an envelope marked “Panther Cash”, with cash or check payable to “Ironia PTO”.
